How to extract patient data and images from CarePICS

Follow the steps below to generate a Clinical Summary document in PDF format for any patient with a record in CarePICS.

Select the name of the patient from the ‘Patients’ tab.
Select the ‘Images’ tab.
Click [Download Clinical Summary] in the upper right.
Select the content you’d like to include by choosing between ‘Everything,’ ‘Specific Album’ and ‘Images from a specific date range.’
Click [Download]. A PDF will generate with the content selected. You may download and save it to a location of your preference.

Optionally, you may log in as a provider to the CarePICS mobile app.

Select the name of the patient from the ‘Patients’ screen.
From the patient profile page, select [Tasks].
From the Tasks list, select [Report].
From the Report list, select [Send Report].
From the Report page, select the desired Recipient, tap [OK]. (You may send it to yourself or another user.)
Select any ‘Tests and Procedures’ and wound image albums you’d like to include.
Select [Next: Supporting Documentation].
To add a free-text note, tap [Add Note], enter text, tap [Save].
Tap to select any desired supporting documents you’d like to include.
Select [Send Report]. A PDF will generate with the content selected. This will take approximately 20 to 30 seconds. A link to view it will be sent by email to the designated recipient. From there, you may download and save it to a location of your preference.
